Mine came after the 1985 World Series, when I played shortstop for the World Champion Kansas City Royals...

"I spent three hours with Buddy on the golf driving range. It was an extraordinary experience. I am a 5 handicap golfer and I have a fairly consistent swing. But after working with Buddy and his program, my game went to another level. I was hitting the ball further with less effort and making more solid contact with the ball. Even some shots I normally had problems with were corrected and became more consistent."

St. Louis Cardinals

We worked with 5 Cardinals Minor League hitters during the 2008 season. They showed a mean increase in OPS of 100.8, versus an overall mean decrease in OPS of -22.45 for the 55 other Minor League hitters in their organization.

The difference between the two groups is considered to be statistically significant (P=.042) which means had we not worked with these hitters, only 4 times out of 100, they would have shown this amount of improvement.

The analysis was performed by a university professor and included players, who in 2007 played at Johnson City (Short Season Rookie) or higher, and were at the same, or higher level in 2008.

We also had great success with 2 pitchers they gave us. One had the yips, of which we fixed, and the other, 1st round pick Adam Ottavino, got off to a very rough start in 2008. We worked with him prior to his June 1 start. His K-BB ratio at the time was 1.1 to 1 and he had an 8.58 ERA.  In his subsequent starts on the season, after initially working with him, he had a 2.31 to 1 K-BB ratio and his ERA ended up at 5.23.
